Dinner was so good last night, it showed up in my dreams. Literally… it was a pretty pathetic dream though. It was me waking up in the middle of the night to blog about French Dips.
They’re so delicious though, so my lame dreams aren’t entirely my fault. Requiring roughly five minutes of prep time, this is the perfect meal for a busy day. Simply throw the ingredients in a crock pot and let them magically transform into a gorgeous meal as you go about your day. Perfection!
1 Cheap Pot Roast
2 Cups Soy Sauce
2 Cups Water
1 Chopped Onion
2 Bay Leaves
1 Tablespoon Dried Italian Seasoning
Step One: Place Pot Roast in Crock Pot and cover with water, soy sauce, chopped onion, bay leaves, and Italian seasoning.
Step Two: Cover crock pot and leave on low for 7-8 hours.
… 8 hours later
Step Three: Butter and toast hoagie buns on skillet or pan.
Step Four: Using tongs and a fork, shred the meat and place into bun.
Step Five: Serve with a side of sauce from the crock pot.
They’re that simple! Enjoy!
